This has been a crazy week! Monday and Tuesday were the days we performed my school's production of Beauty and the Beast (twice a day for a packed audience!), I played Chip, and boy was it exhausting! Then Wednesday, I had to leave at 5:30 for a three hour car ride up to the Technology Student Association State Leadership Conference! I competed in the event called Extemporaneous Speech. The way it works is:
When you go in, you have absolutely no clue what you'll be giving a speech about until fifteen minutes before you speak. When it's your time, you have to draw three index cards from a box. Each one has a technology related topic on it. You pick one, return the other two, then the event coordinator hands you three blank index cards and a pencil and takes you to the planning room. At the seven minute and thirty second mark, the coordinator brings in the second competitor. Seven minutes and thirty seconds later, when the coordinator brings in the third competitor, the coordinator will lead you to the judges. You state your topic, then speak about it for a minimum of three minutes, to a maximum of five minutes.  I gave a speech, but I got called back. It turns out, that I had tied for first place in state, out of sixty other people competing in the event, and needed a tie breaker. However, when we were planning our tiebreaker, the coordinator messed up. He took us in the room at the same time. So when he came to get the first competitor he announced that the second would have to pick a new topic and start over. With less time, because the events were fixing to end. We rock, paper, scissor'd and I lost. I restarted with a  speech about medical ethics. I gave a speech about integrity and moral and. . . came in second. But hey! I officially get to compete at a national level in the summer!

A single tone background will be free. Negotiations will be made if you want a more complex background. All commission prices listed are single character only. If you want more than one person, we'll negotiate.
It will take me anywhere from a few days to two-three weeks to finish a piece, it depends on how complex you want your piece. This will be done digitally. The final result will be posted here on dA.
